Max Barcham

Max Barcham - born again 2003

Australian born, Max resides in Malaysia (30 years) under a spouse visa. As a trained architect and project manager, he responded to God's specific calling in November 2023, in guiding the design, planning and development of theARENA Community Recreation Project in PJ which, God willing, will come to fruition 2026 and to which he will lead an AFL Team to minister and manage the facilities.

Max continues also to release himself to God's call in sports evangelism and coaching (since 2007) - Malaysia, India, Philippines - and is passionate to share the gospel at every opportunity the Lord provides.

Max has been Director of Operations, a non-salaried position, since the incorporation of AFLsports Bhd (2014)

Melvin Lourdes

Melvin Lourdes - born again 2005

Selangor born, Melvin resides in Shah Alam for 35 years. His career began in Customer Service in logistics, then retail where he was creating SOPs, guidelines, policies and procedures for the business. His trained skills in digital marketing were acquired for several years by a local holding company with various businesses, however due to downsizing, Melvin was let go just prior to faithfully commiting himself to AFLsports as a regular Crew Member in the field and beginning his role as the web designer and social media guy for AFLsports in Jan 2024.

Melvin also faithfully serves in his home church in the Alpha ministry and the graphic design team.
